Mikey Madison ties the knot with Jonathan Anderson’s Dior, Clairo pops up in Valentino’s new campaign, Proenza Schouler welcomes a new Creative Director, and the fashion world bids farewell to one of its ultimate masters.
Earlier this week, fashion said goodbye to one of its greatest masters with the announcement of Giorgio Armani’s passing. At 91, the Italian designer was working right up until his final days – invitations to his upcoming show in Milan, scheduled for 28th September, had already been sent. Mr Armani’s legacy stretches across the four corners of the world. Even if you never had the buckets to own a piece bearing his label, your wardrobe has almost certainly felt his influence. His story begins with a suit in the seventies and culminates in a complete reinvention of power dressing for the late 20th century. From Hollywood to red carpets, everyday elegance to the pinnacle of tailoring, Giorgio Armani rewrote the sartorial blueprint. And for that, the industry bows its head one final time.
Rachel Scott in the Hot Seat at Proenza Schouler

A refreshing appointment in the middle of fashion’s highly male-dominated game of musical chairs – Diotima’s Rachel Scott has been named Creative Director at Proenza Schouler. Her appointment follows a summer of whispers, filling the gap left by founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, who have swapped the Big Apple for the City of Lights to take on Loewe, as Jonathan Anderson makes his move to Dior.
DKNY’s Got Bieber Fever

A busy week for the Biebers! While husband Justin stormed the charts with his latest album, SWAG II, Hailey was proving once again that she’s a boss. Between making that billion-dollar rhode deal official at the New York Stock Exchange, she stepped out as the new face of DKNY, fronting its Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign.
Swarovski Honours its Viennese Roots for its 130th Anniversary

To celebrate 130 years of creativity, innovation, and mastery of light, Swarovski Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert has designed the Vienna Collection, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of the emblematic Swarovski Swan. Available now in select stores – and no, it’s not too early to start planning all that EOY glitz and glam (we know that’s what you’re thinking).
Is That Clairo in Valentino’s Le Méta-Théâtre Des Intimités Campaign?

Remember last Paris Fashion Week, when Valentino’s creative director Alessandro Michele took us to red-lit public bathrooms for the show? Well, apparently he wasn’t done yet. For the house’s Autumn/Winter campaign, he brings us back to that same place of intimacy and co-existence – and this time, singer-songwriter Clairo’s in the cubicle with us.
All Aboard Ann Demeulemeester’s “Road to Never” for AW25

For AW25, Ann Demeulemeester embarks on the “Road To Never,” a photographic journey to Ghost Ranch, the New Mexican retreat once home to American modernist painter Georgia O’Keeffe. Under Creative Director Stefano Gallici, the collection translates O’Keeffe’s painterly sensibility into a tactile, wearable language: elongated suits in brushed wool, diaphanous layers that catch the wind, and stark tailoring softened by organic drape. Muted bone, charcoal, and sun-baked earth shades echo the restraint of O’Keeffe’s canvases, while accessories nod to the sculptural minimalism of the desert.

Mikey Madison Joins the Dior Club

Slowly but surely, we’re getting a sense of what Jonathan Anderson’s Dior is shaping up to be. Following a critically lauded Paris men’s debut earlier this year, he’s begun drip-feeding us a taste of his womenswear – both ready-to-wear and couture. There was that Greta Lee gown causing a stir in Venice, and Luca Guadagnino’s tongue-in-cheek tee: No Dior, No Dietrich. But what’s a Dior rollout without ambassadors? Enter Anora star Mikey Madison, the latest name to join the roster. Bring on the last week of September, Mr Anderson – we’re on the edge of our seats.
