2025 has really been a standout year for Demi Moore — both career-wise and fashion-wise — and her appearance at The New Yorker Festival on Saturday was yet another stylish highlight.
Demi stepped out in a forest-green Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2025 velvet suit and tonal ruffled blouse that couldn’t be more perfect for autumn if it tried. The plush velvet, the deep jewel tone, the precision tailoring — it all speaks to the kind of refined, textural dressing that defines the current season when all the leaves are turning brown.
Velvet in October can easily veer into holiday cliché, but not here. The richness of the fabric feels fresh rather than festive. I’m glad she replaced the leather belt we saw in the lookbook with a velvet one, as it removes the military edge and replaces it with a sense of ultra-feminine elegance.
Styled with the Saint Laurent LE 5 À 7 bag and those towering Nico platform boots, this look captures everything we love about Demi right now: elegance, and sophistication without fuss.
