Jodie Turner-Smith joined her co-star Greta Lee on the red carpet for Disney’s Tron: Ares Los Angeles premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday.
I rarely type these words, but I didn’t love this Burberry leather gown on Jodie.
All of her looks leading up to this premiere were far superior in my opinion. Her Thierry Mugler archival dress for the London event, which dates back to the early 2000s, somehow felt more modern and memorable than this new Burberry design.
As you know, I’m never against a theme — in fact, I love when stars lean into it — and this was very much in line with Tron’s futuristic aesthetic. But the execution just didn’t do her justice, and I find that central zipper incredibly jarring.
I’m only fully on board from the Tiffany Knot necklace upwards.
It’s rare that I prefer the build-up looks to the big premiere moment, but this time, that’s definitely the case.
