Elle Fanning attended the Predator: Badlands LA premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday evening.
You probably saw the name Zuhair Murad and expected high-octane glamour — layers of embroidery, perhaps some theatrical tulle — but Elle opted for something a little more measured this time. Her Zuhair Murad Spring 2026 gown featured a sculpted corset bodice with soft draping over one shoulder and a thigh-high slit. It’s elegant, refined, and beautifully crafted, but the energy is quieter than what we’ve come to expect from her.
While the London premiere served playful preppy glamour, this look feels more in tune with the understated sophistication we saw during her Sentimental Value press tour — controlled, classic, and slightly introspective. Elle’s always had the ability to make minimalism feel cinematic, but I can’t help wishing this had a little more bite for an LA premiere. The Cartier Crocodile necklace, originally commissioned in 1975 by María Félix, was a clever styling choice that added a whisper of eccentricity to the overall mood.
Paired with Stuart Weitzman pumps and her signature poise, Elle looked every inch the refined Hollywood star. Yet, for someone as innately expressive as Elle, I found myself craving just a hint more, as I love it when she leans into fashion fantasy.
