At the ICONSIAM Loy Krathong Festival 2025, Freen Sarocha received the honour of being named Nang Noppamas of the Year.
The title is not simply an accolade for beauty; it recognises grace, cultural appreciation, and the ability to represent Thai heritage with confidence and sincerity. It is one of the most meaningful recognitions a woman can receive during the festival.
While we know Freen as a Valentino ambassador, she shifted gracefully into traditional dress for this occasion. Her chut Thai, designed by Surat Jongda, balanced historical craftsmanship with presence. The flowing sabai drape cascaded softly over her shoulder — an ode to the classic Sukhothai design.. The pha sin tube skirt, in a deep sapphire tone, brought contrast through its structured shape and traditional textile patterning.
The accessories were purposeful handcrafted golden jewellery symbolising purity and prosperity. A carved gold belt defined the waist, while a coordinating brooch and bracelets followed traditional forms. Her hair was styled in a classic high bun and finished with a heritage headpiece, anchoring the silhouette in Thai ceremonial tradition.
