Anthony Vaccarello dressed five celebrities in Saint Laurent for the 2025 Governors Awards on Sunday.
Red Nails, Classic Tux
I know what you’re thinking: it’s refreshing to see Alexander Skarsgård in a classic Saint Laurent tuxedo after the leather-heavy, BDSM-coded looks he wore on the Pillion press tour. But of course, there’s a twist — immaculate red nails. It’s subtle, playful, and very him right now.
Styled by Harry Lambert.

Effortlessly Elegant
You can tell it took Austin Butler about five minutes to get ready. This double-breasted Saint Laurent tux is so in his wheelhouse that he could wear it in his sleep and still look perfect. Nothing fussy, nothing forced — just quiet confidence and tonal precision.

Velvet Comeback
Yes, I’m swooning over Rami Malek’s red velvet Saint Laurent jacket. The Cartier pin is a gorgeous touch, and while he’s still in his baggy trouser era, I love the skinny tie comeback. It’s very “leading man in a European art-house film.”

Classic, But Not Boring
Mason Thames has had an impressive first year on the red carpet, experimenting with everything from sleek tailoring to youthful trend pieces, but for the Academy, he kept things classic in Saint Laurent. It’s a smart move — respectful of the occasion without losing his shine.

Didn’t Get The Memo
Reece Feldman absolutely did not get the black-tie memo, and I’m not mad about it. His Saint Laurent Fall 2025 leather jacket and slouchy tailoring have become more of a house signature than the standard tux. Some will say it reads too casual for an Academy event, but Reece has never dressed for anyone’s expectations but his own — and that’s exactly why it works.
