Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière and Sara Moonves, Editor-in-Chief of W Magazine, hosted an intimate dinner on Thursday evening at a private residence in Los Angeles to celebrate awards season. As expected, it was a well-attended evening, with ambassadors and friends of the house turning out in full Louis Vuitton. The styling leaned noticeably seasonal, with several looks nodding to winter dressing rather than California ease.
Winter Dressing
Emma Stone was giving me winter in New York, so I’m here for these soft Louis Vuitton separates and the wool luxe coat.

Winter-Core Layering
I guess it’s colder in LA than I assumed, as Lisa layering this leather perforated mini Louis Vuitton Resort 2026 dress over a black turtleneck isn’t a typical styling choice for her—or perhaps the brief for dressing celebrities at this event was winter-core.
Styled by Nan Nist.

New Face, First (Official) Louis Vuitton Event
Chase Infiniti made her first appearance at a Louis Vuitton event after being announced as a new face of the label. The One Battle After Another actress styled her leather Louis Vuitton mini dress with a selection of Messika jewels, including link-chain pieces that amplified the edgier feel of this look.
Styled by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald.

All-Black Continuation
Renate Reinsve continues her all-black simplicity mood from the Critics’ Choice Awards in this Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 leather look. We are all expecting big things from her on Sunday.
Styled by Karla Welch.

Accessories Missed the Mark
Ana de Armas wore a Louis Vuitton floral jacquard mini dress, but the black accessories felt too heavy against the light fabric. The bag and heels disrupted the softness of the dress, making the overall look feel less cohesive than it could have been.
Styled by Samantha McMillen.

The Most Jennifer Connelly Look Of All Time
Yes, my heart skipped several beats seeing Jennifer Connelly dressed in a colourful guipure lace Louis Vuitton Resort 2026 top converted into a dress. She used to be a head-to-toe runway-look kind of girl, but this styling is very much the Jennifer Connelly Louis Vuitton blueprint—bag and shoes especially—and I can’t fault it. In fact, I love it. Only she can sell a spring-leaning dress with winter accessories.
Styled by Leslie Fremar.

Sister Synergy, Uneven Results
Danielle, Alana and Este Haim have a long history with Louis Vuitton, but stylistically, not a very fruitful one. As always, I’m here for the band (sister) synergy and the colours, but the pieces themselves just aren’t very flattering, in my opinion. I’m always rooting for them, but the clutch and the trousers tucked into Danielle’s boots, the colour, keyhole and white boots of Alana’s look are turning me off their looks. Este could have got off scot-free, even with the creases, but those white wedge boots? I just can’t co-sign them.
Styled by Rebecca Grice.

A More Mature Turn
Jaden Smith used to go for Louis Vuitton looks that had a futuristic feel, but perhaps his style is elevating, as he stepped out in this richly detailed jacquard suit with a tie that felt quite mature—but in a good way.

Office-Core
Hannah Einbinder’s Critics’ Choice Awards Louis Vuitton dress left a lot to be desired, and while this look feels a bit like she’s about to head up a board meeting, I’m not mad at how sophisticated it is.
Styled by Jamie Mizrahi.

Such a Mood
Teyana Taylor is such a mood. She transforms into a new woman whenever she steps onto a red carpet, and I really admire her versatility and how she maintains such a high standard. I covet every inch of this Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 look, minus the three inches on the hem of her trousers.
Styled by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald.

Yes Across the Board
Yes. OMG. Yes to the return to darker hair, yes to the Louis Vuitton cold-shoulder dress with those leather trims, and yes to this rich cinnamon hue with tonal accessories. Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Louis Vuitton have come a long way since the 2024 Oscar night. This is so so good.
Styled by The Reisman’s.

A Pleasant Surprise
Would I have Kate Hudson down as a Louis Vuitton girl? No. Do I love this Louis Vuitton look? Yes. In fact, I’m surprised by how much I love this on Kate.
Styled by Sophie Lopez.

Consistency Wins
Keri Russell has been the most consistent on the red carpet in 2026, and this Louis Vuitton look is a testament to that. I don’t think she or her stylist get enough credit. I would wear this look in a heartbeat, although brown pumps would have been my preference.
Styled by Frank Fleming.

Shared Print, Individual Take
Seeing Britt Lower wearing the painterly floral-patterned Louis Vuitton blazer that matched Keri’s trousers, I’m glad the ladies broke up the look and made the suit their own.
Styled by Rose Forde.

A Shift in Direction
I’m most pleased to see Wunmi Mosaku here. She has been making some impressive moves on the red carpet, and I love this Louis Vuitton look, which is a complete 180 from the the gowns I’ve only ever known her for.
Styled by Shameelah Hicks.
