The 2026 WWD Style Awards took place in Los Angeles on Friday night, where Demi Moore was honoured with the Fashion Icon Award.
After being voted Best Dressed on both the readers’ and critic’s Best Dressed of the Year lists, albeit for different gowns, it comes as no surprise that Demi received the award.
The term fashion icon is often used too loosely, but in Demi Moore’s case, it has been earned. Not only because she is a veteran of the industry, but because she consistently delivers on the red carpet.

She has always had strong style, but since working with Brad Goreski, her fashion choices have reached another level. Her press tour for The Substance, spanning Cannes Film Festival and awards season, was shaped by looks that would occasionally reference the film’s tone and ideas, with nods to Elizabeth Sparkle, such as the Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress worn to the Critics’ Choice Awards, the McQueen dress worn to the BAFTAs, and the goggle-eyed Dior dress worn to the DGA Awards.
For this appearance, she wore a Gucci Pre Fall 2026 shimmering halter gown. This marks her third Gucci gown designed by Demna. A year ago, it would have been hard to predict that he would be responsible for some of her most memorable red carpet moments these last six months, but here we are.

There is no such thing as too much glamour in Demi Moore’s world, so I appreciated the addition of a diamond necklace and earrings to amplify the look. She of course sported her signature hairstyle for the occasion. It’s a part of her iconic status.
Stylist: Brad Goreski.
