Demi Singleton joined Andra Day and Glenn Close on Wednesday evening for the premiere of ‘The Deliverance’ at Netflix’s Tudum Theater in Los Angeles, and let’s just say, she certainly didn’t fade into the background.
Wearing a bold red dress by Miu Miu, Demi caught everyone’s eye with a look that was both glamorous and daring. Miu Miu clearly has their favourites, and Demi is undeniably one of them.
This striking red gown accented with crystals, featuring not one, but two keyholes—the first, a modest nod to current trends, and the second, a far more daring, belly-button-revealing cutout.
If I were to nitpick—and isn’t that what we’re here for?—I’d say the dress is just a tad too long. The extra length takes away from the youthful energy that Demi often brings to her looks and makes the dress feel heavier than it needs to be. A slightly shorter hemline would have added a touch more playfulness to the outfit.
But let’s be honest, most eyes were drawn to that second keyhole. It’s a bold choice, to say the least. While some might find the cutout edgy and fashion-forward, others might feel it leans a bit too far into revealing territory. It’s a fine line between daring and distracting, where does it hover for you?
The crystal accents add a touch of elegance and sparkle, but they also draw more attention to the midriff cutout, making it the focal point of the entire ensemble.
While I might have preferred a slightly shorter length and perhaps a single keyhole rather than two, Demi’s Miu Miu moment is still a win in my book. It’s youthful, it’s bold, and it’s undeniably Demi.
