Monica Bellucci made a stunning appearance at the London premiere of her new film, ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’, alongside co-star Jenna Ortega at Cineworld Leicester Square.
As a long-time admirer of Monica’s classic all-black ensembles, especially throughout this press tour, I was happily surprised to see her switch things up in a breathtaking burgundy dress by Saint Laurent, designed by Anthony Vaccarello.
Finally, it seems her stylist recognized the need for some variety on this tour to keep things fresh.
While Monica’s sleek, monochrome silhouettes have been a consistent choice since she transitioned away from tailored suits, this burgundy number offered a much-needed change of pace. It was a refreshing departure from the uniformity of her recent looks, and in my opinion, far superior to the Vivienne Westwood dress she wore at the Venice Film Festival. The rich colour and elegant design brought a new level of sophistication and intrigue that was missing from the night before.
But what truly elevated this look was seeing Monica without her signature shades for the first time on this press tour. Why anyone would choose to hide such a beautiful face behind dark glasses is beyond me. It was a joy to see her embrace a more open and luminous look, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.
Monica completed her outfit with matching accessories, including a Saint Laurent Midnight satin clutch and a delicate diamond necklace that added just the right amount of sparkle without overwhelming her ensemble.
