Zendaya attends the Milan photocall for the movie "Challengers"

There was a time when featuring Zendaya in a BDOTW poll would guarantee her a win, but that wasn’t to be the case with her Thom Browne and Calvin Klein looks from last week.

Are you fatigued by the all-white tennis inspired dresses?

I’m assuming so, but she did look great once again serving up four more white looks this weekend promoting, ‘Challengers.’

With Duomo looking as beautiful as ever in the background, the actress’ M.O. was tennis, but make it high fashion wearing a Ralph Lauren Collection archival dress from the Spring 1992 collection, which was serving up 1930s Golden Age of Tennis elegance.

This length and silhouette continue to be Zendaya’s go-to for photocalls, along with her white Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps.

It was very convenient that a tennis match was going at the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin during Zendaya’s photocall.

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters was the perfect time to showcase a slightly different style of tennis attire, as this Brunello Cucinelli tennis inspired look – which hails from the labels Fall 2024 collection – pays homage to when the women tennis players uniform consisted of floor-length skirts, and long-sleeved tops in early 1900s.

So, while there’s a notion that Zendaya is wearing white dress after white dress, and you might be feeling uninspired by this promo tour, or believe that the looks aren’t innovative enough, I do see that a lot of effort and research has been made by her team, especially in terms of archive and historical looks.

Zendaya honoured Althea Gibson, who was the first Black player to win the Wimbledon singles title, wearing a custom look from the Swiss sportswear label, On, while watching the tennis with her co-stars.

Once again, I’m getting a retro vibe from this look, which saw Zendaya wearing sneakers for the first time during this promo tour.

Zendaya’s final look of the weekend saw her sit down with her co-stars to chat with host Fabio Fazio about her new film.

Wearing her fourth look of the weekend, the actress donned a custom 16Arlington dress which feels inspired by the Spring 2024 collection.

If there was a time to perhaps change the colour or silhouette, I believe this was probably it, but it would seem that the M.O. for this promo tour is, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

‘Challengers’ will be released in cinemas internationally from April 24.
