Sarah Paulson was one of the first to attend the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (March 27) in Beverly Hills, California.
I was surprised that Tracee Ellis Ross didn’t get her hands on this look first.
But considering she had first dibs on the feather pieces from the Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2021 collection, it gave room for Sarah to bring the Bottega Veneta Fall 2022 leather high-low skirt, layered with an acre of fringe, to the red carpet.
Most would stop there, and make the skirt hero piece. But when you have a celebrity stylist like Karla Welch, that was only the beginning.
Swapping out grey knit for the white top (which is giving me Jil Sander vibes), then adding a pop of colour via her magenta pumps added yet more character to the look, but it was the opera gloves which added to the dramatics, making this one of the best looks of the night.
Norman Silverman jewels completed her look.
