Snow Peak and Toned Trout have come together once more to release another selection of fishing apparel and accessories. Across the collection, Toned Trout’s creative director Masakazu Fukuyama, has applied his knowledge as a professional fisher to the Snow Peak range, updating classic styles with details inspired by mountain stream fishing.
Standouts from the duo’s efforts include a rain jacket which has been developed using the membrane of the “Re-Closed” textile—minimising the damage made to clothes from fishing hooks—and a vest that features independent yoke parts as well as an adjustment system that caters to different body shapes and pocket volume.
Rounding out the fishing-themed collection is a pair of cargo shorts, long and short sleeve T-shirts, rain hats, sun guard caps, socks and a titanium mug complete with a Yamame fish graphic.
