Thuso Mbedu attended the W Mag Best Performances Celebration this week ahead of Sunday’s Oscars.
You may instantly recognise this green Louis Vuitton Resort 2020 scuba dress, because we first saw it worn by Maria Bakalova during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival back in July.
This just proves to me that some things need a second outing, with improved styling.
It’s fair to say that I did not like this look on Maria as it didn’t suit her style, but on Thuso who has both the attitude and much improved styling in that she didn’t opt for those LV Resort 2022 boots, the dress is allowed to be in the forefront.
Also looking at Maria again, I think that her dress was too big for her.
Thuso’s more streamline dress doesn’t appear as bulky.
