Despite having recently trotted the globe to promote her latest film, The Batman, Zoë Kravitz did not rest for the Oscars 2022 parties. After channeling Audrey Hepburn in a strapless pastel pink Saint Laurent gown at the Academy Awards ceremony, Kravitz channeled Hillary Swank in a long-sleeve, high-neck, backless white gown (also from Saint Laurent) for Vanity Fair‘s star-studded after-party in Beverly Hills.
At the 77th Academy Awards in 2005, Hilary Swank accepted an Oscar for her leading role in Million Dollar Baby in one of the most iconic Oscar gowns of all time. The long-sleeve, high-neck, backless navy gown from Guy Laroche dipped very low in the back. Zoë Kravitz’s Saint Laurent gown has a similar silhouette to Swank’s iconic dress. The crisp white gown has a mock neck and is fitted extremely close to her body, with a small mermaid-style train toward the bottom for movement. The backless gown shows off Kravitz’s back tattoos.
Kravitz styled the look with simple diamond drop earrings and the same Hepburn-inspired updo with micro bangs that she wore for the ceremony.
