Returning as Lady Edith Crawley, Laura Carmichael joined her co-star Michelle Dockery for the ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ world premiere at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London on Monday (April 25).
I’ve always been a huge admirer of Laura’s style.
She’s what I would usually refer to as the “wildcard” of the group as she will often step onto the red carpet in an edgy design by Christopher Kane, but on this occasion, she served up something more romantic from Giambattista Valli’s Spring 2022 Haute Couture collection.
The silk-chiffon fabric, and bow bodice were fairytale-ready, but the high low hemline serves up a very kind of tale; one that sits well with Laura’s dare to do something different style.
Pink pumps completed this gorgeous look.
