As you know, during this time of year (when we’re caught in this weird “in between” stretch of winter and spring) I am constantly trying to dress “springy” while staying warm at the same time. For those in the same boat, today I present to you my latest finding…
Spring Style Hack: Lavender Beanie
You know I have that slouchy cashmere camel-colored beanie that I wear all the time? Well, it’s several years old and not sold anymore, but I’m always getting asked to link it! I love that it’s thinner and slouchy so it feels like a chic accessory that happens to be warm, rather than a dorky beanie that makes me feel like an oversized 5 year old (as so many of them make me feel. ????)
Well–I found a very similar one on AMAZON of all places–so I had to order it to test it out for the sake of investigative journalism *obviously*–but this time, I decided to go with an unlikely color. (You know I’m typically a neutral queen in the winter!)
I chose lavender–and know what–it’s my new favorite thing. It’s a small little pick me up that brightens my day–and surprisingly, lavender and camel are a GREAT color combo together! Have you ever tried pairing them together? If not–give it a try this week!
If you’re like me and willing spring to arrive, but have to stay warm in the meantime, it’s a pretty great little style hack that’ll only set you back $15! You can also shop more colors right here!
How I styled it earlier this week. Please enjoy the eclectically decorated living room courtesy of June. ????
Lavender beanie, NUULY rented graphic tee, Levi’s 501 jeans (I’m 5’6 and have the cropped 28″ inseam but they come in 26″, 30″ and 31” I think they’re TTS, no stretch, but they will stretch out with wear.) socks, Everlane Court sneakers (reviewed here), J.Crew coat
