We have clearly entered the season of Anne Hathaway. Every time a new photo of the 39-year-old actor shows up online it seems to go viral, and her evolving fashion icon status has become a subject of fascination in recent weeks.
After dominating the Cannes Film Festival style headlines, Hathaway is now back stateside (New Jersey, to be specific) to film a new movie with another Academy Award winner, Jessica Chastain. Both actors were seen on set in ‘60s styles that feel very Mad Men, complete with coiffed hair and structured dresses.
Hathaway in particular looks like she shopped in Jackie O’s closet with her aquamarine blue dress and matching shoes. White gloves, green sunglasses, and a white straw pocketbook finish off her character’s look.
Chastain, meanwhile, will be blonde for the film, which was styled in a classic ’60s bouffant updo. She was seen wearing a mint green dress with a peter pan collar and white buttons down the front.
