Mandy Moore had a date night with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, while attending a NBC For Your Consideration event on May 25 for Moore’s show This Is Us, which came to an end after six seasons this week.
In addition to both being dressed in designs from Thom Browne, the married duo showed off their matching signing talents with a performance of original songs from This Is Us. Moore starred on the NBC show as matriarch Rebecca Pearson, a role that often utilized Moore’s natural singing abilities.
The 38-year-old actor swapped her usual style of colorful dresses and fun prints for a sleek black suit complete with a thin tie and pocket square. With the help of her stylist Kevin Ericson, Moore has been seen wearing more and more two-piece sets recently, and this full suit moment is a welcome addition to her evolving style. It shouldn’t be a big deal when a woman actor wears a suit—after all, Diane Keaton has been doing it for decades—but there’s something about flipping fashion gender traditions on their head that still feels notable.
