Sofia Carson joined her friend Dove Cameron on the red carpet for the Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Cam For A Cause Inaugural Gala held at Soho Warehouse in Los Angeles, California.
As we all know, the singer-actress has the keys to all things Giambattista Valli, and can pull just about any gala gown that she wants. So I found it interesting that she opted to do something different at an event with the “gala” in the title.
Surely this event called for a tulle gown, no?
Nope. Not on this occasion.
She wore an ivory Giambattista Valli look featuring the oversized taffeta bow we saw presented in the Fall 2020 Haute Couture collection.
I have to give credit to her for something new. But the trousers ruined my enjoyment of this look.
We all know the perils of wearing taffeta on the red carpet, and this is no exception.
Surprisingly the bow held up well.
