Throughout the spring season, the Oscar-nominated actor has delivered some iconic fits that cement her status as a fashion icon. At the Emmy FYC Clips and Conversations event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood promoting the Hulu series The Dropout on Sunday, June 12, the actor and Emmy frontrunner wore yet another shorts suit—this one with a fun, sparkly twist.
Seyfried wore a black sequin blazer over a crisp white shirt that she buttoned to the very top. She tucked the shirt into a pair of matching black sequin shorts, which fell a few inches above her knees.

To finish off the look, the actor wore a simple pair of pointed-toe black heels.
For glam, Seyfried wore her signature long blonde hair styled in soft, romantic curls, and went for a pink and purple smokey eye as dramatic as the sequined shorts suit.
Makeup artist Katey Deno posted the look on Instagram and shared some advice for a fun, colorful summer smokey eye. “Play around with any eye shadows you happen to have at home,” Deno wrote in the post’s caption. “Blue, turquoise, and greens look great together, pinks and oranges do too. There are so many color combos and shadow-placement options for you to channel your inner child with and let your face be your art project.”
