Bella Hadid celebrated the launch of her Kin Euphorics x Tao Hospitality Group partnership at The Fleur Room in Hollywood on Friday (June 24) with entrepreneur Lori Harvey in attendance.
What both ladies had in common were their vintage Roberto Cavalli looks, which didn’t feature the designer’s signature leopard print.
Bella Hadid has been enjoying a vintage revival with her wardrobe of pre-loved dresses that has been influenced by her stylist Law Roach.
On this occasion she wore a vintage Roberto Cavalli pink floral dress which could pass as couture lingerie, with its corseted waist and sultry fabrication.
She styled her look with Loewe’s Rose two-band slide sandals.
The Roberto Cavalli Fall 2005 collection is one of my favourites from the designer because it gave us two amazing red carpet moments from Kate Hudson who wore a stunning gold lame gown from this collection to ‘The Skeleton Key’ London premiere, and Victoria Beckham who wore a blue and white dragon and Chinese blue and white porcelain print gown to Elton John’s annual White Tie and Tiara party back in 2005.
There have been many designers who have also used this style of print over the years – Valentino for their 2013 collection, Guo Pei in 2010, Rodarte in Spring 2011, Giambattista Valli for Fall 2013 Haute Couture and Dolce & Gabbana, but the print on Lori’s corset instantly alerted me to this being a Roberto Cavalli Fall 2005 piece.
I’m glad Lori opted to wear a full look, as it gives the look maximum impact.
Femme Luce Minimale sandals completed her look.
