After Mexico and Europe, DeWanda Wise was back in Los Angeles for the premiere of Universal Pictures ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ on Monday (June 6).
I was really excited about DeWanda’s style which saw her serve up a variety of looks this past fortnight.
However, when I saw her in this blush Valentino tiered dress, I was a little disappointed as I was expecting more of what we’ve seen previously.
Even from the little we’ve seen of DeWanda, this kinda feels too tame for her, and a little generic, especially since we saw Nina Dobrev wearing a dress similar to this last week.
I say this a lot, but I’m not a prude.
However, as a stylist, I wouldn’t let my client walk the red carpet wearing a dress with her areolas on display like this. I just wouldn’t.
I wish she saved this stunning Alberta Ferretti Fall 2022 dress for this LA premiere (Getty didn’t cover this premiere unfortunately).
Some of you noted that you wished that Frida Aasen had worn the runway version during Cannes, so at least we got to see it.
