Keke Palmer arrived on the red carpet for the world premiere of Pixar’s Lightyear looking like a woman ready to have fun in space.
On June 8, Palmer took the Space Ranger theme and ran absolutely wild with it. The Nope actor wore a sequined, royal blue midi skirt with a sheer, multicolored lycra top, finished with neon sandals to match the color of her eyeshadow as well as her bright yellow manicure.
We appreciate anyone ready to take a fashion chance, and Palmer obviously looks beautiful. Plus this is an animated Disney film above all else. Playful dressing ought to be encouraged if not downright mandatory.
In Lightyear, Palmer voices the character of Izzy, one of Buzz’s intergalactic companions. On her Instagram, Palmer posted a clip from the movie’s trailer with a sweet caption promoting referencing her character. “Izzy is gonna need yall’s emotional support in theaters here soon,” she wrote. “We’re headed to infinity and beyond with @pixarslightyear starting June 17.”
