Kylie Jenner, makeup mogul, mom, swimwear saleswoman, has joined the Free the Nipple movement, a sorta-kinda social media protest that had a moment in, like, 2014 and became the basis for an episode of The Bold Type.
As you probably know, Instagram censors “female” nipples but not male nipples, which many see as a sexist double standard that arbitrarily shames half the population. Anyway, that’s what Jenner used as the caption for a picture she posted to Instagram of herself sunbathing in a bikini top that bears the image of, well, nipples! NSFW? But also…SFW?

Jenner limited comments on the post within minutes of it going up on Monday, June 6, but before she did, followers chimed in with comments like, “Absolutely screaming ma’am,” and “We just wanna know ur sons name 😭,” which, while respectful of privacy, I am curious about as well, TBH. In case you missed it, Jenner welcomed her second child with boyfriend Travis Scott in February, announced that the baby was a boy named Wolf, then announced that the baby was a boy whose name was not Wolf because they weren’t feeling that as a name.
Jenner tagged fashion house Jean Paul Gaultier on the second slide; her top appears to be part of a line of…how else to put this…nip-wear? The line comes in multiple skin tones and, yes, has a (blurry) crotch:
