All the royals—including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry—are showing out for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to the U.K. from their home in California on June 1 for the festivities, including Trooping the Colour, the annual celebration of the reigning monarch’s birthday. Because they stepped down as working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry weren’t among the crew standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. However, they were photographed enjoying the splendor from the sidelines.

The pair were seen watching the parade at the Major General’s Office; photos show the couple playfully shushing Zara Tindall’s children—Mia, 8, and Lena, 3—and Peter Phillips’ daughter Savannah, 11, according to People. (See the photos here.)

In the photos, Meghan Markle wears an oversized straw Stephen Jones hat with a large navy bow and a matching navy dress. And it’s the navy dress, with its off-the-shoulder neckline and distinctive blue color, that has fans doing a double take. People speculated that the dress is the very same Roland Mouret piece that Meghan wore the evening before her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

The rewear—if it is one—could be symbolic of her desire to resurface happier memories from her time in the U.K., especially given this is her first royal event since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020.

And if it’s not a rewear? Well, maybe Meghan just loves navy. If it ain’t broke…
