Chanel presented their Replica 2021/22 Métiers d’Art show in Florence on Tuesday (June 7), with Penelope Cruz in attendance.
The Spanish actress wore a Chanel jersey dress from the 2022 Coco Beach Collection styled with an embellished Chanel Resort 2023 jacket, which is usually where we would expect her to stop; after adding shoes of course.
So colour me surprised to see just how detailed her Chanel accessories are.
Some might say there is too much going on and she should’ve evoked Coco Chanel’s classic quote, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.”
However, I kinda think this look would’ve been too much of a classic Penelope Cruz Chanel look without them.
Aren’t we always saying we wish she would give us a little bit more?
In this case it is a lot more. But I’ll take this step outside her comfort-zone.
If I was a Chanel ambassador, you best believe I would be loading up on those pearls and cuffs too.
