The first big Oscar contender of the year may very well be Amsterdam, written and directed by Silver Linings Playbook helmer (and noted Difficult Person) David O. Russell. Starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington, the film follows three besties who find themselves caught up in a caper in 1930s America. Bale plays a veteran, Robbie a nurse he met in the hospital, and Washington his friend and lawyer.

Here’s everything we know about the comedy-thriller, due out later this year.

Who’s in it? So. Many. Stars. In addition to Bale, Robbie (doing an American accent), and Washington, the cast includes Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Taylor Swift, Mike Myers, Zoe Saldaña, and Rami Malek.

Wait, Taylor Swift? According to Variety, Swift plays the daughter of the dead man whose murder is at the center of the plot. Apparently she breaks down into tears as Rock’s character looks on. Neither her actor-brother Austin Swift nor her actor-boyfriend Joe Alwyn were involved with the making of this film. Blondie’s out here doing it for herself.

Here’s our only look at the character as of now:

What’s it about? The film’s logline, per The AV Club, is “a fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience…about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.”

It looks humorous and quirky, and the trailer promises that most of its events actually happened, but since we don’t really know what those events are, this vague assurance doesn’t mean anything. Yet!
