Olivia Cooke was joined on the red carpet for HBO Original Drama Series ‘House Of The Dragon’ had its world premiere held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Wednesday (July 27) in Los Angeles, California, by her co-stars Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith.
Australian actress Milly Alcock – who plays Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen – was the first to catch my eye because she wore one of my favourite dresses from the Alexander McQueen Spring 2006 collection.
I love the Greek goddesses feel, the sleekness of it all, and particularly the gold embellished fringed detailing which accents the front and the sides of the dress.
A Cartier necklace completed her look.
Emily Carey, will be playing the Young Alicent Hightower, wore a Givenchy Spring 2022 full look from the runway.
I don’t think this will be a BDOTW request, but I really admire how she opted to stand out in this look.
It feels a bit futuristic, even though it looks like she’s wearing bloomers. Surprisingly I don’t hate it.
Emma D’Arcy, who stars as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, brought back the oversized suit trend – with a vengeance – wearing this Vetements Spring 2022 black suit.
This look instantly reminded me of the Balenciaga look Justin Bieber wore to the Grammys, but this appears even more oversized.
The look was styled with chucky Vetements sneakers in what most will consider a comical look, but I think they have the attitude to make it work.
It’s not often that Matt Smith fades into the background, but the Britisth actor – who plays one of the main antagonists, Prince Daemon Targaryen – did so in this all black look.
