Margot Robbie is Barbie. Not only does she physically resemble the iconic doll, she has the bold, sunny, girly personality that has come to define the hot pink brand. So it’s no wonder that she’s staying in character while on the set of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie. Case in point: she had the Barbie birthday party we all begged our parents for when we were little.
The Australian actor turned 32 on July 2 and celebrated on set with a box of donuts (in a pink box, as donuts usually are, plus of course #aesthetic), and a Barbie cake that literally reads “Happy Birthday Barbie Margot.” You can check out the pictures right here.

Barbiecore is definitely a major trend this summer. During Paris Fashion Week, Valentino debuted a line of fuchsia garments that have since taken over the red carpet. Everyone from Vanessa Hudgens to Lana Condor to Lizzo is stepping out in magenta. And Megan Fox, who very much looks like Barbie’s edgy friend, has been in some shade of pink for weeks.
