Here is a roundup from the gents who attended the ‘Nope’ premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (July 18) in Hollywood, California, alongside Keke Palmer and Lupita Nyong’o.
I kinda had to start with Kendrick Sampson who appears to be trying to bring flares back wearing this camel Moschino Resort 2023 suit styled with an embellished blazer.
Kendrick may not have that many red carpet appearances, yet he has always been at the forefront of moving red carpet fashion menswear forward. This is his more elevated looks to date.
However, I’m not entirely sold on the Billy Porter inspired white boots.
Brandon Perea’s purple suit was styled not styled with diamonds. He opted for pearls.
John Boyega was giving us laidback elegance in dunhill Fall 2019 look.
As was Michael B. Jordan in his Burberry look which I don’t think needed the diamond necklace.
Daniel Kaluuya was looking too cool in this Dior Men look. The studded shoes added to his overall swagger.
De Beers Forevermark Jewelry completed his look.
Jabari Banks’ Versace Pre-Fall 2022 look features a tonal Silver Baroque laser-engraved print and signature Medusa hardware which elevated it from the typical double denim status.
Versace Odissea sneakers and a Versace crossbody bag in the La Greca Signature print complete the look.
Purple suits were trending on this red carpet as Jordan Peele got the summer suit memo wearing a linen custom Bode suit.
Jimmy Choo ‘Esra’ loafers completed his look.
Steven Yeun didn’t get the summer suit memo, yet this Gucci burgundy suit was impeccably tailored, and that is all one can ask for.
Stephen Curry looks good in this Versace Fall 2022 look, but I think one less knitted element – the cardigan – would’ve been my style preference.
