Anitta was representing Brazil at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 28) in Newark, New Jersey, as she captioned her Instagram post, “Heart of Brazil @vmas.”
The one thing we can expect from the singer is a sultry moment, and she didn’t let us down in this three-piece look – moulded breastplate, half-corset, and maxi skirt combo – from Schiaparelli’s Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection.
We haven’t always been a fan of the singer’s style, but it feels like she hit a rich vein of form in 2022 (or got herself a new stylist), because she no longer serves up those OTT looks.
What I like about this look is that it’s fiery to suit persona, without feeling like she was trying too, even though the very nature of VMAs style is to serve up those extroverted looks.
I’d love to know the reason behind the purposeful windswept hair.
