The Htown Hottie recruits Dua Lipa, Future, Rico Nasty, and more for her new album
Calling all Hotties! Grammy award-winning rapper, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Megan Thee Stallion bares all and unleashes her highly anticipated album Truamazine.
Traumazine invites Hotties into Megan’s most profound thoughts on her journey of self-actualization and dealing with trauma. Released amid a bitter legal battle with her record label, the title of her second studio album is derived from a chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events.
Flipping between accusing nameless foes of grimy agendas and references to wider current events, including the overturn of Roe v Wade, Traumazine serves as Megan’s most vulnerable project released. The 18-track album features the hottest names in music, including Dua Lipa, Key Glock, Jhené Aiko, Rico Nasty, Latto, Lucky Daye, Pooh Shiesty, as well as Houston staples such as Sauce Walka, Big Pokey & Lil Keke. Several singles released previously appear on the tracklist, including Sweetest Pie, Plan B, and Pressurelicious, all of which have entered Billboard’s Hot 100.
The announcement of Traumazine follows Megan’s 2022 Billboard Music Awards “Top Rap Female Artist” win, her second consecutive victory. The superstar also celebrated the release of the highly anticipated second studio album by serving as co-host for The Tonight Show.
Traumazine is available everywhere now on all streaming platforms.
