Rihanna and A$AP Rocky intend to keep their son away from the limelight, but that doesn’t mean the couple is hiding out.
“They’re keeping things low-key so they can enjoy their little family,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. “Privacy has become increasingly important to the couple. When it was just the two of them, they’d go out all hours of the day and night, and interact with fans. Now, with the baby, they’re a little more protective.”
Still, sometimes a date night is just what new parents need. On August 13, the couple was spotted enjoying a night to themselves (plus at least one security guard) in New York City. For his part, Rocky was dressed casually in a pair of ripped blue jeans, a graphic T-shirt, and flannel, which he styled with a backward purple cap and a pair of Gucci x Adidas leather clogs that would set you back $1,250 if you were into that sort of thing.
Rihanna, who welcomed her first child with the rapper in May, paired an oversized RZA T-shirt with a distressed denim miniskirt. However, the “Diamonds” singer only showed off a sliver of skin by pairing the short skirt with a dramatic pair of slouchy thigh-high boots.
For her beauty look, Rihanna wore her long black hair in a half-up-half-down style and added a pop of color with a bold red lip. She tied the ensemble together with a green snakeskin purse, gold necklaces, a pair of large hoops, and black sunglasses. When it comes to Rihanna’s style, more is certainly more.
