Daddario was last spotted at the U.S. Open earlier this month, where she wore her shoulder length brunette hair under a Yankees baseball cap. She attended the tennis tournament with husband Andrew Form, who accompanied her on tonight’s red carpet.
Daddario and Form were married this summer, after getting engaged in August 2021. The actor recounted their chance encounter first meeting to Vogue. “I was waiting for my co-op to approve me so I was sleeping on an acquaintance’s couch and would take frequent walks,” she said. “He was also on a walk, and we passed each other downtown. He turned back and said ‘hi’ just as I was turning around to glance back at him. I laughed and said ‘hi,’ and then we both laughed about how we were the only two people on what is normally an incredibly busy street, and he asked if he could take me to dinner. I said ‘okay’ against my better judgment. Nowadays, you’re supposed to meet people on dating apps!”
Tonight, Alexandra Daddario is a first-time nominee for her role as conflicted newlywed Rachel Patton in HBO’s The White Lotus. “It’s so nice to be in something that people like,” she told Glamour. “I loved it and I loved shooting it, and I’m obsessed with Mike White to an unhealthy degree. So I am delighted that people are getting the show and know what he’s trying to say, and it’s just cool to be part of that.”
