Cara Delevingne’s thick, dark, brown brows and platinum-blonde hair truly defined an era (and arguably helped bring bushy brows back). But nowadays you’ll spot Delevingne opting for more of a honey blonde hair color or returning to her brunette roots, a drastic switch from the bright blonde hue. For the 2022 fall season, she’s trying a warm brown shade dubbed “Nutella brown.”
We predicted that the warm medium-brown hair color would be popular for the fall, and Delevinge is already ahead of the game. She revealed the new color during the launch party for her Karl Lagerfeld “Cara Loves Karl Paris” fashion line on September 27 during Paris Fashion Week.
Naturally, she attended the party in one of her own pieces: a belted black blazer dress paired with black thigh-high suede boots, a bright red lip, and her Nutella brown hair. Her cinnamon-hued waves were parted down the middle for a simple, effortless look that seems on-brand for the model. The roots were a darker brown shade that faded seamlessly into the lighter caramel-brown hue for a classic ombré style. The slight texture was the icing on the cake.
Delevingne is practically unrecognizable with her darker brunette hair. It’s hard to believe that the model once had nearly white-blonde hair with the 180-degree switch her hair color has undergone. But whether she has bright blonde or warm brunette hair, we know she will undoubtedly look good.
