Milan Fashion Week closed with the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022 held at the with the Teatro alla Scala on Sunday (September 25) in Italy, which was presented by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion in collaboration with the United Nations Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI).
Alongside Cate Blanchett, there were many more celebrities and models in attendance
Ai Tominaga was easily one of the best dressed at this event, giving us full on glamour wearing a Gucci Spring 2022 pink sequinned gown which had large volumes and larger ruffles as the distinguishing features.
You may remember that St. Vincent wore this same gown to the 2022 Grammys.
It appears that Adut Akech loved the Max Mara Spring 2023 collection as much as I did, because she opted to wear her closing look from the show to this event.
I don’t know if it’s the lighting, the makeup or the fact that she’s not in motion, but I love the look even more the second time around on the red carpet.
Toni Garrn has had a pretty flawless run during fashion month, and this embellished Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini cut-out gown is no exception.
Gianvito Rossi sandals completed her look.
Taylor Hill wore a Etro Spring 2023 sheer, embroidered gown, which was the first design under the creative direction of Marco De Vincenzo to be seen on the red carpet.
Olivia Palermo always takes more risks with fashion when she is in Europe.
Her mesh dress from Ermanno Scervino’s Spring 2023 collection left precious little to the imagination.
I can’t say that I found this particularly flattering on Olivia, as the dress looks super tight on her chest.
Indya Moore had a more successful outing in her sheer Missoni Spring 2023 dress. Particularly when it comes to styling the look.
As did Isabeli Fontana who wore a sultry LBD from Ermanno Scervino.
Amina Muaddi Yoon embellished satin pumps completed her look.
Rossy De Palma, who was the presenter of the evening, looked very elegant in red Valentino.
Ester Exposito also opted for flame red. The Spanish actress’ exquisite keyhole gown was courtesy of Blumarine.
Grace Elizabeth gave us our first look from the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2023 collection. This shade of green was divine against her pale skin.
Four days after being presented the look has already been lined. I think actually improves the look.
While a lot of celebrities were wearing fresh-off-the-runway looks, Claire Holt opted to delve into Alberta Ferretti’s archives to wear this beautiful Spring 2020 midnight blue embellished dress.
Jon Kortajarena channeled his inner Count Dracula wearing a Valentino Pre-Fall 2022 look.
The look feels a little costumey for me.
Madame rocked an MSGM tuxedo dress which showcased the Italian rapper’s love for chic tailoring.
I have no problems with a more masculine take on tailoring, but I didn’t think Bianca Balti’s Tod’s look was the right look for this occasion.
I love the colour and texture of Ghali’s Marni Spring 2023 suit, but since it was fresh-off-the-runway, he didn’t have time to tailor the length of the trousers.
Francesca Michielin felt that this embellished Miu Miu two-piece denim look was worthy of this occasion. I’m not so sure.
I love Eva Riccobono’s Stella McCartney gold sequinned slip dress, but I didn’t like the addition of the black blazer here.
Gianvito Rossi gold sandals completed her look.
