Happy Friday!
A little treat to kick your weekend off right today–Saks Off 5TH has launched a 25% off sale that applies to orders of $150 or more with code TAKE25. (Regular priced items only, clearance excluded). Runs through 9/25, so don’t wait to shop it! They have amazing designer finds at way less than retail price.
Also–an OLD SCHOOL outfit post! Remember these!? 😂 I’m pretty sure my last one was in…2020?! But it feels pretty good to be back, I have to admit!
A couple noteworthy things to look for at Saks OFF 5TH in particular: (something Anna clued me in on as she shops there often!): Vince sweaters (they have such an amazing selection, many over HALF off!) and Stuart Weitzman boots–most of them ranging anywhere from a 50%-60% off. (How are more people not talking about this place?!) I’m styling items in today’s outfit from both of these categories–so let’s jump into those details!
What I’m wearing here today:
Vince Open Cableknit Sweater: (Now $112 with the current promotion!) This sweater is SO soft and it hangs so beautifully. It’s also lightweight, so perfect to layer over a button down like I’ve done here! (But obviously looks cute all on its own! I sized up to a medium because I love when my sweaters are a bit oversized and have a little slouch to them, but I would say it fits TTS as a true medium does. A small also would’ve fit great–it’s just a fit preference! I love the subtle cable knit texture that adds more interest to your outfit–whatever you decide to pair it with! (Shop all their Vince sweaters right here!)
AG Alexis High Rise Slim-Fit jeans: (Now $85 with the current promotion!) I often get asked for jean reccos for those who want to branch out from their classic skinny jeans, but don’t feel comfortable wearing a true straight leg or wide leg–and these are a PERFECT solution! They’re also not cropped and are a full length on me (I’m 5’6) so they’ll be nice for those deep winter days when you don’t want exposed ankles! Fit-wise, I took my regular size 26 but they are more snug than most of my size 26 jeans. I would say if you are typically between a 26 and 27, go with the 26 if you want a tight fit, or go with the 27 if you prefer a more relaxed fit. They have a great amount of stretch in them and they’re very soft!
Stuart Weitzman Siggy 60 Suede Block-Heel Sock Booties: (Now $187 with the current promotion!) These booties are WONDERFUL. *AND* I know so many of you are going to love them because they are sock booties and come up high on the ankle–meaning you can wear them with lots of different jeans and your ankles aren’t exposed! (Again, midwestern winter problems. 😂) They’re also so incredibly comfortable due to the block heel–definitely a more elevated bootie that feels nice enough to wear to work, even! (They come in a dark charcoal as well!) Tip: You’ll just want to apply some suede protectant to keep them looking nice–whatever kind you have on hand will do! (You can shop all Stuart Weitzman right here!)
