Meghan Markle’s “unfiltered” podcast has reportedly been ill-received by the Firm. “I’m told Buckingham Palace aides were most definitely not keeping calm, nor carrying on after the show’s premiere on Tuesday, worried about what else might be shared over the next 12 weeks,” Yahoo! royals executive editor Omid Scobie wrote on August 24.
Meghan Markle has been on the receiving end of royal family tensions and vicious tabloid fodder since well before she and husband Prince Harry made their big move to the United States in 2020. However, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle reunited in a grand display of unity following queen’s passing on September 8.
During an emotional group outing to visit with well-wishers on September 10, one teen girl hugged Markle to show her support for the duchess, telling CNN, “I just wanted to show her that she’s welcome here and wanted to hug her after everything that’s happened.”
