The Don’t Worry Darling press run has been nothing short of eventful so far—we’re still thinking about Florence Pugh in her purple ‘fit—but don’t worry, there’s always more.
After taking over Venice, L.A, and San Sebastián, the film finally made its way to the East Coast on September 19 with its premiere in New York City. Donning their most glamorous ensembles, the stars of the movie—including Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, and Nick Kroll—as well as director Olivia Wilde made their way to the AMC Lincoln Square Theater for a special screening ahead of the film’s theatrical release on September 23, 2022. However, two key actors were missing from the lineup: Florence Pugh and Chris Pine.
The two actors had previously stolen the spotlight during the film’s premiere at the Venice International Film Festival with an impromptu photo shoot on the red carpet involving a disposable camera, so, of course, all eyes would have been on them had they graced the red carpet in NYC.
