It feels like Jodie Turner-Smith is everywhere at the moment, as the British actress hosted the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2022 Awards on Wednesday (October 25) in Doha, Qatar, with six new looks.
Jodie’s first look of the night was a Gucci velvet dress featuring a high visibility coral pink bodice and a tulle overlay.
The length of the skirt, the contrast bodice, and the satin gloves with the jewelry on top killed any enthusiasm I may have had for this look.
This is possibly my least favourite look from Jodie this year.
Channelling her inner Grace Jones, the actress wore a red Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2022 Haute Couture red jumpsuit.
This is more like it from Jodie.
Something unexpected and creative with a half coat overlay, built-in gloves, and a baseball cap-head wrap hybrid giving us a high-fashion, memorable moment.
We know Jodie loves statement jewelry, so while you may be feel that the Chopard necklace was unnecessary, it did prevent this look from feeling too one note.
Rocking her third look with a headpiece, Jodie looked radiant wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2022 Couture pearled ivory long sleeve hooded gown which didn’t need the green and diamond Chopard necklace on this occasion.
Next up was a sparkling, plaid Gucci suit which feels like a change of pace for Jodie, who will give us gown after gown but rarely a suit.
Jodie concluded her presenting duties greeting HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser on stage.
Romantic details and ultra-feminine silhouettes lay the foundations of Giambattista Valli’s DNA, and all those qualities are present in this Fall 2021 Haute Couture lime-green sleeveless pleated silk chiffon gown.
I’m totally charmed by the colour, the dreamy quality and the delicacy.
After the show came the after-party where Jodie danced the night away Zuhair Murad Spring 2022 Couture gold chain and jeweled gem embellished sheer dress.
