Following ‘The Woman King’ London premiere on Monday, Lashana Lynch was back on the red carpet promoting her other project, Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda The Musical.’
Starting with the press conference.
I’m kinda lost for words. Yet I have a lot to say.
Because there must be a point where you look at the mirror and see that this Preen by Thornton Bregazzi Ahn dress from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection is incredibly unflattering.
Quite possibly the most unflattering look I’ve seen this year.
Lashana Lynch is a beautiful, and more importantly, talented woman. But I’m constantly disappointed by her red carpet looks.
Why does she always get such inconsistent looks?
I’m incredibly broad shouldered, so I wouldn’t even consider this dress which is trying to mimic a layered off-the-shoulder dress with a shirt design – which is clever, but it’s not Lashana’s dress.
This would make a great maternity dress.
Moving onto the premiere, and things are much improved in this Ashish Morocco sequinned georgette maxi dress from the Fall 2022 collection.
Some of you might be looking at this and refuse to be so easily swayed by the colourful embellishments, but I want to give Lashana at least one win out of two, and I do believe this is a beautiful dress.
A gold headpiece and black sandals completed her look.
I want SO much more for Lashana.
