Here is a red carpet roundup from the gents who have caught my eye within the last couple of weeks.
It would be impossible not to start with Eddie Redmayne who joined Jessica Chastain on the red carpet for ‘The Good Nurse’ premiere during the 2022 London Film Festival on Monday (October 10).
The actor wore an Alexander McQueen suit featuring an embellished waist which could potentially be a custom look inspired by the Spring 2023 collection which featured cut-outs at the waist.
I won’t be surprised to see Timothée Chalamet wearing the look book version in the near future.
‘Bones & All’ director Luca Guadagnino joined Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell on the red carpet for the London premiere.
As we learned from his looks during Venice Film Festival, Luca’s loves fashion, and his brand of choice is Loewe.
And what an amazing pairing it is proving to be.
On this occasion it was a case of art meets tailoring as he wore a tropical brown bespoke Loewe suit accented with metal drains inspired by the Fall 2022 collection.
And the metal drains weren’t limited to the blazer, as they accented his Oxford shoes as well.
I almost didn’t recognise Robert Downey Jr. who attended the ‘Sr.’ New York Film Festival premiere on Monday (October 10), as he looks so much younger than I remember.
Channelling his inner tech CEO attending a meeting on Wall Street, the actor wore a Givenchy Fall 2022 U-lock jacket suit and simple t-shirt styled with a pair of Gen-Z-style sneakers.
John Boyega presented what to me is his best look of ‘The Woman King’ promo tour wearing an Ozwald Boateng three-piece suit, which the designer described as “A timeless classic with a contemporary twist.”
Excuse me Mrs Union-Wade, but Dwyane Wade was looking mighty fine making his way to a studio in New York City on Thursday (October 6) for his guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ wearing a Prada anthracite gray oversized double-breasted leather trench coat.
Proving that the coat wasn’t the only great part of the look, he was on set looking very debonair wearing an all-black Prada look featuring a logo tie, which he styled with a Cartier Tank Must timepiece.
Dwayne Johnson attended the Warner Bros. ‘Black Adam’ photocall held at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday (October 6) wearing a multi-coloured ombré chevron print knit shirt which I’m sure you will instantly recognise as Missoni.
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin opted for classic elegance wearing a Dior Men’s collection black wool peak lapel double-breasted suit with a black cotton t-shirt for ‘The Woman King’ London premiere.
