Queen Latifah was back on the red carpet for TheGrio Awards 2022 held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday (October 22) in Beverly Hills, California.
The actress-rapper is the second person to wear a look from the Thom Browne Spring 2023 collection.
You may remember that I did not like the look Gwendoline Christie wore to the ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ London Film Festival premiere.
What makes me love this look more on Queen Latifah?
It starts with the fact that this style/silhouette is more familiar for the rapper.
Then we get to the styling.
Gwendoline’s cutesy curls were all wrong for this look, where Queen Latifah injected more of her grandiose personality into it by adding the leather gloves and frilled collar.
