That makes me think of all the kids posting on TikTok right now.
Everything we do now is recorded and shared. And everything that’s shared is there forever. It lives forever on the internet. That makes me want to vomit. I’m so glad TikTok and Instagram weren’t things that existed when I was a kid because, man, was I cringe. I mean, I’m still cringe. I’ll probably regret this interview in 10 years. [Laughs]

Let’s talk about The White Lotus. Jennifer Coolidge may play your boss from hell, but what was it really like working with her?
She’s the most unique person I’ve ever met and just an innately very funny person, you know? She’s also really smart and knows what she’s doing. Even when she forgot her lines, I could have sworn that she was doing that on purpose because it adds this quality to Tanya. She’s pretty genius.
I loved watching her and there were two times that I was actually laughing so hard I peed my pants. Literally. Like a tablespoon of urine came out into my pants. I’m not just saying, “Oh my god, like, I peed my pants,” but didn’t actually pee my pants. Actual urine came out because I was laughing so hard.
Both times, the camera was over my shoulder onto her so you still see the back of my head and my shoulder. You know when you laugh so hard that your shoulders shake? I could crack a smile if something made me laugh, but I couldn’t move because that would ruin the take. So I really was clenching all of my muscles really tight so I would stay still while I was laughing, which I think instigated the pee. Anyway, that happened.
Is there a beauty product you picked up from your hair or makeup artist while filming The White Lotus?
