If you were wondering if the dress code for the 2022 Gotham Awards was black dress only affair, Ayo Edebiri is here to shatter that belief.
In just a few short months the comedian has proved herself to be quite the one-to-watch on the red carpet.
We’ve seen her quirky moments, but on this occasion, she gave us pure glamour wearing a Giambattista Valli Spring 2020 Haute Couture light green tiered chiffon gown accented with pink taffeta bow appliqué.
Considering our shared feelings about taffeta, I’m not surprised to see that the bow is a bit flat here, but that doesn’t lessen my enthusiasm for this look.
Those of you wishing that the bow was more structured, I’m sure won’t be wishing that she wore the feathered headpiece.
Because if Naomi Campbell can’t sell it to you, no one can.
