Katy Perry attended the 2022 CMA Awards which was held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 9) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Words actually fail me.
We all know that there is a quirky, playful side to Katy’s style, but the country denim “giddy up yee haw” angle she was going for didn’t quite land with this Marques’ Almeida Spring 2023 denim bustier and jeans look.
The top half isn’t very flattering to me.
Double denim is so tricky to pull off at the best of times but washed denim with bleached denim was always going to be a recipe for disaster.
And then we have that oversized bow to add to the tragicness of the look.
Katy can do so much better. I’m actually shocked that she allowed this.
A single Yvan Tufenkjian earring and a Mikimoto Akoya pearl and diamond choker in 18k White Gold from the High Jewelry Jardin Mystérieux collection completed her look.
Turns out I had plenty of words after all.
