Leni Klum does not care what people think.
Last month, the 18-year-old did a photoshoot in lingerie with her mom, supermodel Heidi Klum, which some people found “weird” and “disturbing.” The photos, for the Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, show Leni and Heidi modeling bras and underwear while laughing, smiling, and hugging each other.
Generally, the negative reactions found the idea of a mother and daughter modeling together in lingerie unsettling. Others did not like that Leni, who turned 18 in May, was modeling for an intimates brand (that’s not up to anyone but Leni, btw). Per Page Six, Howard Stern said on his Sirius XM show, “I looked at it and I thought, ‘This is so f—king’ out of line. It is so inappropriate. But you can’t stop looking at it.”
You can see the photos on Heidi’s Instagram, where the comments on this particular post have been turned off.
Leni, who is following in her mother’s modeling footsteps, has chosen to remain above the fray. “I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions,” she told Page Six at her worm mom’s Halloween party on Monday, October 31.
“I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great,” she said. “If I don’t look at [the comments section], I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there. I had an amazing day, an amazing shoot, it’s out, I love it.”
