Like Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o has been busy promoting ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’
But unlike Danai, Lupita had five looks to Danai’s three.
Starting with Lupita’s guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ where the actress wore a red and white Thebe Magugu striped dress with PVC Aldo pumps and a Prada bag.
I love the look with the Dorothee Schumacher coat for the wintery feel.
This look reminded me of her Prabal Gurung and Mansur Gavriel look during her ‘Us’ tour where she also whipped off her coat while arriving the GMA studios.
For her guest appearance on ‘Live with Kelly And Ryan,’ Lupita wore a Cult Gaia Fall 2022 navy dress with the shimmering sheer elements selling this look to me.
The look was styled with a Longchamp Box-Trot XS crossbody bag, and a pair of open-toe platforms.
Joining Danai at SIRIUSXM Studio, the actress returned to the look she has channeled most during this promo tour; a suit.
I can’t say all the excitement about this Burberry suit, but I am intrigued by the scarf-style top/dress, leather collar and shades.
I think I understand what Lupita and her stylist were going for here by trying to elevate the tailoring, but it didn’t work for me.
The result is a bit of a mish-mash.
For her guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ the actress wore a sultry Victoria’s Secret sheer lace catsuit styled with an oversized wool sleeveless coat.
This was probably the only look that didn’t need editing.
And finally, for the New York screening, the actress wore a green Dolce & Gabbana lace dress styled with an amazing pair of over-the-knee boots, De Beers jewels and another Longchamp Box-Trot XS crossbody bag in green.
I found myself really liking this look, maybe for the colour coordination, or maybe because I’m kinda desperate to be excited by a look from Lupita.
