Here is a roundup from the menswear looks so far this week, which includes a very well-dressed red carpet for the ‘Devotion’ and ‘Welcome To Chippendales’ LA premieres.
But first we start with Nicholas Hoult, who joined his ‘The Menu’ co-star Anya Taylor-Joy on the red carpet for the New York premiere.
I really enjoyed the relaxed, yet sophisticated nature of this Dior Men Spring 2023 look, especially the layering of the beige cashmere double-breasted bar coat, beige silk shirt, and white embroidered tank top.
But I’m on the fence when it comes to the shoes. Mostly because they remind me of hiking boots.
The last time we saw Michael B. Jordan we weren’t enthused by his yellow Louis Vuitton look.
For the ‘Devotion’ LA premiere, the actor went back to basics wearing a Fendi Fall 2022 black silk shirt and trousers featuring the jacquard FF micro details.
Between Kate Hudson’s new style, and Janelle Monaé stealing the limelight, Leslie Odom Jr. has kinda fallen under the radar during the ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ promo tour.
This Dolce & Gabbana capri blue flowing Sicilia fit suit styled with a coordinating foulard shirt will be the most memorable look from this promo tour for me.
Both for the style, and the colour.
Maybe it is the chiselled good looks, but Spencer Neville looked absolutely perfect on the red carpet for the ‘Devotion’ LA premiere.
I was already enamoured by how his navy Dolce & Gabbana Martini-fit tuxedo enhanced those piercing blue eyes, but the Azure silk satin shirt featuring a bow collar took this into Disney Prince (Prince Eric / Prince Florian / Prince Charming) territory.
And that is not a bad thing for me.
It’s safe to say that you weren’t fans of Kumail Nanjiani’s salmon coloured Grayscale suit for the ‘Black Panther’ premiere, so he had a chance to redeem himself at the LA premiere of ‘Welcome To Chippendales’.
I was sold on this Darkoh suit based on the chocolate and biscuit hues alone, but this was a much better outing in terms of colour and style.
I found myself swooning over Glen Powell wearing this Tom Ford Cooper Prince of Wales suit.
Aside from being on trend with this tonal offering, this is a very well-cut suit and it looks to have been crafted from the most sumptuous wool.
Am I the only one slightly transfixed by the deep shade of black of his tie?
Tom Ford Alec Chelsea boots and an OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch Moonshine Gold timepiece completed his look.
Quentin Plair joined Kumail Nanjiani on the red carpet for the ‘Welcome To Chippendales’ premiere wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Colbalt Sicilia-fit tuxedo.
Only the midnight blue blazer is working for me here.
I would’ve preferred trousers in the same colour and fabric, and I’m not a fan of guys wearing a chain on top a tuxedo shirt like this.
British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who was probably the one who started the tonal trend when he wore a Valentino Pink PP look earlier this year, wore a Fendi Men’s Spring 2023 look during the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.
Timberland boots were the only logical footwear to wear with this look.
There is something about Joe Jonas style I can never get on board with, and this is no exception.
I like the Marni suit, but he doesn’t sell it to me.
How are you going to attend a premiere with ‘Chippendales’ in the title and not wear leather?
Thankfully Murray Bartlett gave the people what they wanted wearing a chocolate brown leather suit. And I have to say that I love it.
Jonathan Majors got the all-black memo, as he joined his co-stars Glen Powell and Michael B. Jordan on the red carpet for the ‘Devotion’ premiere.
